2006 Coshocton Invitational Results

RE: The Coshocton Invitational

(West Lafayette, O) The final round of the Coshocton Invitational was played Sunday afternoon at River Greens Golf Course. The first round leaders, Chris Saltmarsh and Jon Mathias battled to the 36th hole before a winner was determined. Saltmarsh's birdie putt fell in to separate the two and the former Walsh College standout finished the tournament at 6 under 138. There was a four-way tie for third as Brad Wright, Greg Frey, Todd Wilson, and Matt Gasser all had 1 under par 143's. A three-way tie for seventh had Josh Anderson, Michael Koreski and Blake Sattler (last year's champion) at even par 144. AT Spires, Jason Baughman and Ken Kinkopf rounded out the top ten at 146.

Rich Miller was a two stroke winner over Ray Sovik to claim the Senior Division Champions Cup. Miller played the two days in 146 strokes to best Sovik by two. Ron Bowman finished third with a 149. Jim Mason, Jeff Sparks, Don Darr and Tom Young tied for fourth place at 153.

One of the day's highlights was an ace on #5 as Doug Savage carded a hole in one.
