RE: River Greens Spring Scramble

(West Lafayette, O) The 17th annual River Greens Spring Scramble was played Saturday afternoon with 41 teams from all over Ohio competing. The Team of Scott Savage and Brian Webb from Mt. Vernon carded a 9 under par 61 to win by one stroke over the teams of Chad Gress & Joel Meeks and Kevin & Brian Hinkle. Don Darr and partner Tim Cooksey were tied 4th with Will Johnson and Rodney Peete at 8 under 64. Mills-Reuscher tied Shuff and Savage with 65's. There was a 3 way tie for eighth place as Anderson-Paxon, Frey-Wilson and Stebelton-Miller all shot 66's.

The next event will be the 3-man Mid-Am scramble for golfers who are 30 years of age and older on Sunday May 7th.
